Really stuck with a keychain issues in IOS

Hi all,

I have a project that needs to store passwords in the key chain. its a forms project so I have an IOS class that does the work for keychain. I am using this code

var queryRecord = new SecRecord(SecKind.GenericPassword);

and for some reason the queryRecord will never get built. when i debug the error i get is that there is a null object? no idea what is meant to be be null. I am calling this code when a view model is appearing if that adds anything.

In the same class I have been able to add records to the keychain with no issues.
