I have a ListView with ImageCells that when populated is several times longer than the screen. I have noticed that even though the entire list is populated at once, the URL for an image is not hit until that specific cell is scrolled into view. That is not a big problem, but it appears that when a cell is scrolled off the screen, the image is not saved, because if I scroll to the bottom of the list and then scroll to the top, all the images that had been previously displayed are reloaded from their respective URLs. Is this normal behavior? How can I force the image to be retained when it scrolls off the screen instead of being reloaded every time?
