I'm missing the Blank App and Blank Xaml App new project templates for both Portable and Shared projects in Visual Studio 2015 (Enterprise). I've not had problems with this before...seems like the issue appeared about the time of the Xamarin v6.2 release. The only thing I've found that restores the templates is to completely UNinstall Xamarin and Visual Studio and reinstall both. (Reinstalling Xamarin by itself doesn't correct the problem.) Unfortunately, I've had to reinstall Visual Studio to restore missing Xamarin templates twice in the past week, so it seem this isn't an isolated, one-time problem. Anyone else seeing this behavior? Anyone else have a better (temporary) solution than reinstalling Visual Studio?
